NIN - THE DOWNWARD SPIRAL (DUAL DISC DVDA SIDE - DTS)
a mojave productions release
since there isn't any DTS audio on this dvd-a (there wasn't enough room for it, because it was released as a DUAL DISC, another wonderful format brought to us by the wreck'd co's)
and I was not completely happy with the DD5.1 mix (as the case seems to be more often than not), so I figured this would be another good one to test this process with...
-extracted High Resolution Content (48 kHz/24-bit) mlp files directly from DVD-A with DVDAExplorer (The DVD-A wasn't CPPM-protected so it could be done directly from the DUAL DISC without ripping it to the HD).
-decoded 48 kHz/24-bit wave files using surcode mlp encoder, verification work around to decode mlp files
-resampled wave files from 48 kHz/24-bit to 44.1 kHz/24-bit and separated the 3 stereo wave files (C/LFE, FL/FR and SL/SR) into mono files (C, LFE, FL, FR, SL and SR) with Sound Forge 8.0 (dc offset was not present on these files - so it didn't need to be removed)
-encoded to DTS with Surcode CD Pro DTS
-enjoy

P.S.
some of you might already have this in DD5.1, this is a re-release, of sorts, previously released at demonoid as a DD5.1 DVD rip, didn't have all the stuff to do a proper DVD-A rip at the time, so I figured sharing it in the orginal DD5.1 was better than converting from DD5.1 to DTS.
