What’s better than a two-disc compilation featuring Radiohead, Rilo Kiley, Ladytron and many other Scenestar favorites? How about all of those artists donating their time, talent and profits to support an amazing cause? Urban Outfitters and Filter Magazine have teamed up once again to issue a volume of their Give. Listen. Help. series, and this time, the cause hits even closer to home. Dangerbirds Record founder Jeff Castelaz has created the Pablove Foundation in honor of his 5-year-old son, Pablo, as he undergoes treatment for a rare form of cancer.
The album will be sold at all Urban Outfitters stores beginning October 15 and features 25 tracks across two discs. Disc one boasts an unreleased track from Garbage, along with live and remixed songs from Radiohead, Oasis, Bloc Party and others. Disc two is the Dangerbird contribution, and artists contributing from the indie label include The Dears, Silversun Pickups, Sea Wolf and Darker My Love.
